Extended Family Living

Many families are choosing to pool their assets in order to share the outlay, management and reduce living costs.

Family estates often feature a main house with smaller, private dwellings, tiny homes, vans and shared infrastructure. Our farm stay approval allows 1 permanent tiny house + 5 tourism accommodation structures in addition to the main residence. Secure your future through versatile income streams that work for you.

Home Grown - Self Reliance

Having some veggies, fruit and herbs at your fingertips is a joy. It takes years to establish your fruit trees, so this was a priority for us, from the start.

Landscaped with edible and medicinal plants. A preference for tough, perennial varieties means they do not have to be nurtured ie parsley, Japanese greens, nasturtium, aloe vera, rhubarb, silver beat, basil, rosemary, cos lettuce, blue lotus, comfrey, choko, grapes, cardamom etc

Established fruit trees include loquat, feijoa, blood orange, lime, finger lime, fig, avocado, white mulberry, Brazilian cherry, ice cream bean, mandarin etc

Sustainable Land Management

The property is masterfully planned for aesthetic beauty and sustainable land management. Use of Earth Repair fertilisers condition the soil to promote earthworms & dung beetles. Regenerative land management leads to manure breaking down quicky, so there are less flies, less parasites, better pasture, good drainage, less hard feeding and happy, healthy, safe horses that stay in good condition year round. Rotational grazing with cattle and strategic slashing prevents the 'lawns, roughs, mud & dust.’ You can create a win - win situation between yourself, your guests, your animals and your property.

There are various 'classrooms' linked by safe forest trails. Our system establishes a good foundation for confident, versatile horses for all disciplines.

There are undulating shaded, riding trails over the property, so you can spend hours riding or walking without leaving the farm. There is 800 m of creek frontage plus kilometres of unsealed no through roads from the front gate.

We purchased the property in December 2010…

You are welcome to come & stay so we can show you what this great little farm has to offer.
